Daniel Swarovski (1862-1956) is the inventor of Swarovski Crystals. She was born October 24, 1862 date in northern Bohemia (now the Czech Republic) and died January 23, 1956 birth date. His father was a glass cutter who had a small glass factory. Here was a young Daniel started apprenticeship and skilled in the art of cutting glass. In 1892 he patented an electric cutting machine that facilitated the production of crystal glass. Daniel Swarovski has the technical capability innovative cut crystal. He wants to secure the visionarinya discovery and use them to survive in competition with other Bohemian crystal-makers.
In 1895, Swarovski, financier Armand Kosman and Franz Weis founded the Swarovski company, originally known as A. Kosmann, Daniel Swarovski and Co, which was later shortened to KS & Co.. The company was founded in a crystal cutting factory in Wattens, Tirol (Austria), to take advantage of their use of local hydroelectricity for the energy-intensive grinding processes which Daniel Swarovski had patented.
