Menggunakan Imbuhan se-

Untuk memahami penggunaan kata yang menggunakan imbuhan “se-“, terlbeih dahulu perhatikan kalimat yang dikutip dari teks bacaan di depan berikut ini!

Pada contoh (4) kata seorang merupakan pengungkapan lain dari “satu orang”; “setiap” sama maksudnya dengan “tiap-tiap”; dan “sebelum fajar tiba” sama maksudnya dengan “setelah aku tinggalkan, sesuka hati” dan “sepuasnya” sama maksudnya dengan sampai (ia) “suka dan puas”; “sebatas kemampuan” sama maksudnya dengan “sampai batas kemampuannya”. Pada contoh (6), kata “setahun dan sebulan” sama maksudnya dengan “satu tahun dan satu bulan; dan tinggal serumah” maksudnya sama dengan “tinggal di rumah yang sama (satu rumah”, “seizin” sama dengan maksudnya dengan “setelah mendapat izin”.
