Ringkasan Bab tentang Kebutuhan Manusia, Kelangkaan, dan Masalah Pokok Ekonomi

1) Kebutuhan Manusia
Kebutuhan merupakan keinginan yang harus dipenuhi manusia dalam menjaga kelangsungan hidupnya. Kebutuhan manusia bersifat tidak terbatas, sementara alat pemuas kebutuhan bersifat terbatas. Untuk memenuhi kebutuhan manusia mengeluarkan pengorbanan tertentu. Kebutuhan manusia digolongkan sebagai berikut:
a) Menurut intensitas kegunaan, kebutuhan terdiri atas: kebutuhan primer, kebutuhan sekunder, dan kebutuhan tersier.
b) Menurut bentuk dan sifatnya, kebutuhan terdiri atas: kebutuhan jasmani dan kebutuhan rohani.
c) Menurut waktu pemenuhannya, kebutuhan terdiri atas: kebutuhan sekarang, kebutuhan masa depan, dan kebutuhan tak terduga.
d) Menurut subyeknya, kebutuhan terdiri atas: kebutuhan individu dan kebutuhan kelompok atau kolektif.
2) Kelangkaan
Kelangkaan adalah merupakan kesenjangan antara kebutuhan manusia yang tidak terbatas dan alat pemenuhan kebutuhan yang terbatas. Untuk mengatasi kelangkaan sumber daya ekonomi, manusia perlu bersikap rasional.
a) Faktor penyebab kelangkaan antara lan: keadaan geografis, pertumbuhan ekonomi yang lambat, keterbatasan kemampuan produksi, perbedaan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi, serta bencana alam.
b) Untuk memenuhi segala kebutuhan hidupnya, manusia memerlukan sumber daya ekonomi. Sumber daya ekonomi terdiri atas sumber daya alam, sumber daya manusia, sumber daya modal, dan kewirausahaan.
3) Masalah Pokok Ekonomi Modern
Masalah pokok ekonomi modern diperinci dengan pertanyaan berikut:
a) What, berkaitan dengan jenis dan jumlah barang serta jasa yang akan dikonsumsi.
b) How, berkaitan dengan teknik yang digunakan dalam proses produksi.
c) For whom, berkaitan dengan target sasaran produksi barang dan jasa.

2) Scarcity
Scarcity is a gap between human needs are endless and limited equipment needs. To overcome the scarcity of economic resources, people need to be reasonable.
a) The cause of the scarcity of the lan: geographical situation, economic growth is slow, limited production capacity, the difference of science and technology, as well as natural disasters.
b) To meet all the needs of life, people need economic resources. Economic resources are the natural resources, human resources, capital resources, and entrepreneurship.
3) Key Issues of Modern Economics
Fundamental problem of modern economics elaborated with the following questions:
a) What, in relation to the type and quantity of goods and services to be consumed.
b) How, related to the techniques used in the production process.
c) For Whom, associated with target production of goods and services.
