19th Amendment Anniversary (August 18, 2010)

Today is the 90th anniversary (August 18, 1920 - August 18, 2010) of the 19th Amendment of the Constitution in the ratification process and the day was not marked with a Google Doodle, but with a message on the Google homepage. It is an important reminder of an important day in history, but it does seem a bit strange that Google chose the one-line message instead of a single Google Doodle.
