In the past, I've prayed the Lord as if dictating even force ... "Lord, if indeed he created for me, please draw near ..... But if he's not for me, please ... please check again in" ... What happened, ... I slapped (by my friend) ... and the end of the story .... I get a better than what I dictated the first. The point is, never to dictate let alone impose our will to God. Besides violating the precepts of Pancasila-2, also violates the ethical order our servitude to Him. Long before the prayer was spoken, actually existing in-Hand of God whom he would accompany us. So .... live as natural as possible.
