The Advantage and Disadvantage of Nuclear Power (title)
(issue)Nuclear power is generated by using uranium which is a metal mined in various part of the world. The first large scale of nuclear power station was opened at Calder Hall in Cumbria, England in 1956.
(arguments for)
Some military ships and submarines have nuclear power plant for engine. Nuclear power produces around 11% of the world's energy needed, and produces huge amounts of energy. It causes no pollution as we would get burning fossil fuels. The advantagets of nuclear plant are as follow :
- It costs about the same coal, so it is not expansive to make.
- It doesn't produce smoke or carbon dioxide, so it does not contribute to the greenhouse effect.
- It produces huge amounts of energy from small amount of uranium.
- It produces small amount of waste.
- It is reliable.
On the other hand, nuclear power is very, very dangerous. It must be sealed up and buried for many years to allow the radioactivity to die away. Furthermore, although it is reliable, a lot of money has to be spent on safety because if it does go wrong, a nucleare accident can be a major accident.

(Issue)The national examination is one of organized government assessments to measure student success. the final value national exams that later determine a student graduation or not worthy of the school. (Arguments For)
On one side of the national examination considered to improve the quality of education of a country. With the national exam schools and teachers will be encouraged to be able to better services for the students as possible and make every effort to make their students to pass the exam. so the students will be encouraged to study in earnest to get as much value as possible to prove that he could graduation.
(Arguments Against)
However, there are those which disagree if the value of the national exam used to measure student success in learning at school. Therefore it actually makes students become overburdened with a value that must be achieved. This is what makes the students would think to cheat a friend or buy a the answer key to its jockey matter, which is now found to Semarang. student thinks he bought the key, he will get which maximum value. In fact it is so considered dishonest and can affect not good for students who are serious about the national exam.

On the same note, while the initial investment to get school uniforms may be high, children can then wear the same outfit without having to worry about owning a large change of clothes. Uniforms are usually made out of durable, easy-to-care for materials that do not require frequent replacement.

School uniforms may hinder self expression through clothing, forcing children to find other ways to put across who they are. Children who wear school uniforms are more likely to use makeup early, and many resort to extreme accessories or to alter their uniforms to differentiate themselves from others. For example, many girls shorten their skirts as a way to rebel against the severity of school uniforms.
Self expression and individuality is important to a child's development. Wearing school uniforms may teach children that is OK to conform to standards, even if you don't agree with them. It also sends the child a mixed message, as the real world does not allow for safe options such as wearing a uniform.

As the result of this controversy, there are some countries or schools impose their students to wear school uniform and some others don’t. Indonesian students have to wear school uniform since they are Kindergarden, elementary to high school, however they are free when they are in college or university.
